We at Basi & Basi Financial Planning can advise upon and arrange; residential purchases, re-mortgages, first time buyers and buy-to-lets.
The mortgage market has undergone significant changes in the recent past, not least due to the unprecedented market turbulence in the last few years, the effects of which continue to reverberate within the economy. So where to go if you require advice and arranging from the whole of the market??
While many will offer independent advice, many fail to give you the real option for truly independent advice. We do, as we give all customers the choice of how we are paid, either by commission or fees.
You will probably be aware that many banks have started offering “direct” deals for customers. Yet many other banks continue offering “exclusive” deals to intermediaries only. So how can you make sure that you are looking at all options? You could analyse each of the 5000+ mortgage products available in the UK- which excludes “exclusive” intermediary deals..or you could come to us who have access to mortgages from the whole of the market and recommend the most suitable deal for you.
Why should you contact us for independent mortgage advice, and not a bank, or one of the many other mortgage brokers which can be found on High Streets or indeed Google?
Your mortgage is likely to be your biggest purchase decision, but as with all big decisions, they should be well planned. As full independent financial advisers, we not only look at your mortgage but – as the rest of this site shows – we aim to help you plan your entire financial future, making sure your mortgage as well as your life and family are protected; that your investments are planned to help clear that new mortgage as quickly as possible; and ensuring you have a comfortable retirement planned. We offer this initial review of your current and potential financial position free of charge.

An administration fee of £250 payable at the outset and 0.5% of the loan amount payable on confirmation of the mortgage offer, for example: If you take out a loan of £100,000 you will need to pay £750. If you choose this option we will refund to you any commission we earn from the lender.
An administration fee of £250 payable at the outset and we will be paid commission from the lender on confirmation of the mortgage offer, subject to a minimum of £500, for example: If you take out a loan of £100,000 and the lender pays us £300 you will need to pay the £200 deficit. If the provider pays us £500 or more you will not have to pay anything additional.
You will receive a key facts illustration when considering a particular mortgage, which will tell you about any fees relating to it.
Refund Of Fees: If we charge you a fee and your mortgage does not go ahead, you will receive: no refund of administration fees.
